The idea of a person wanting so badly to write, and so badly to be like a writer, that they'd go to those extremes is sort of an interesting concept -- like Misery, or that one movie with Robert DeNiro about the fan (Was it called "The Fan"? God, I'm a wreck.) But if the execution of an interesting concept is no good, I'll pass, and like Stephen, your review makes me think "eh."
