Without conflict, things are boring as we know. Yet, this kills any possible chemistry between the characters. In some ways this reminds of the Avengers, and how they managed to make it all work. At first, they start out fighting each other and disagreeing on things. In general, fans like to see them fight and this involves action scenes, but this couldn't go on and be interesting.
