Update #6

Today on Comics Reader I'm talking about some Batman and Superman origin story comics (and one non-graphic novel) I read recently.

Yesterday on Indie Writers Monthly I talked about my favorite genre--or lack thereof.  If you haven't read it, it's pretty short.

Also the first volume of short stories based on my Girl Power series of superhero books is now on Smashwords and Amazon.  Altogether they were only about 80 pages double-spaced so you can probably read them over a lunch break.

Over the last week I've been working on a project that will probably only amuse me.  I compiled old Sims 2 images I made and then made comparable Sims 3 images.  Then I took sections of the story where that character is described so you can see how each picture stacks up with the text.  Here's an example:

Admittedly I couldn't always get them to line up either to each other or the text, but I do the best I can.  Much to Michael Offutt's horror I have like 116 of these.  I'm not sure what I'll do with them.  Maybe throw them on another blog or a Tumblr or something.  Again, mostly for my own amusement.  What else am I going to do with this polar vortex keeping me cooped up?

Update #4

Today I'm on Comics Reader talking about Superior Spider-Man (aka Dr. Octopus Spider-Man) Volume 1, which leads to a brief discussion of replacement superhero characters.  Click here!

Also, tomorrow my short story collection The Carnival Papers is supposed to be featured on Wattpad because some people there liked it and then asked that I put all the stories together since I had posted them separately.  If you don't like reading on a website you can always buy the collection for Kindle or in paperback!

BTW, head's up that around Valentine's Day the domain for this blog should expire, which means this site will probably go down for good.  Or maybe it'll revert to a normal Blogger address?  I'm not really sure exactly what that will do, but by the end of February you can probably go buy www.ptdilloway.com from GoDaddy or one of those other places and then try to ransom it back to me.

Update #2

Today I am posting on the new Indie Writers Monthly blog about what to look forward to in 2014.  The short version is:  not much.  So go check it out; it won't take long.  I'll be posting there about once a week so make sure to follow that blog.

And I should be back on Comics Reader next Tuesday with a post on Wonder Woman, the new 52 version.

Update #1

No my blog is not back, but I thought like the Chubby Chatterbox I'd link here to a post on another blog.  Today on Tony Lamplume's Comics Reader I'm reviewing certain Marvel event comics and positing on why so many use parallel universes/time travel.  So check it out here!

I'll be periodically contributing to that blog, so you should start following it.

BTW, the third volume of the Girl Power series, League of Evil, is now available on Amazon and from Smashwords.  It should be on B&N in the next day or two.
