Looking Back, Looking Ahead

If you took last week off from Blogging, here's what you missed:

Looking ahead to this week, Wednesday is once again the Superhero Trivia contest, where you can win $5 for knowing something about superheroes, or looking something up on Google.  This week's question is so easy that it almost couldn't get easier unless I asked you something like, "What color is the Scarlet Knight's armor?" Someone would still probably get that wrong like Sean Connery in the old Celebrity Jeopardy parody on "Saturday Night Live."

Besides that there's also another Two-Fer Tuesday and reviews of some recent DVD releases.  So another full week ahead!

Oh splendid. Now I can read all those and catch up.

I already coerced you into reading all those. Others were not so fortunate.

I give up! What color is the Scarlet Knight's armor? You need to make these questions easier if you want comments. Ha!

Who's head is on a Lincoln Head Penny? Who's buried in Grant's Tomb? Those I understand. But if there's no dead president involved, I haven't a clue. Sorry.

I always loved those SNL skits, espceially the ones with Burt Reynolds, aka Turd Ferguson.

I think it will be a matter of who can post the fastest for your contest. Will have to check your blog thousands of times..lol.

Hey PT,
Another um useless trivia contest. However, if you were talking £5....
SNL, bring back "Mr. Bill"..."oh no!"

The question posts at noon EST (by whatever clock Blogger uses)

Oh man, it's been ages since I've watched that SNL bit. Good laughs! Also I wanted to bring up a great point you mentioned on my blog. I didn't say it in the post I wrote today, but I would much rather have the blogger moderate comments then use word verification. That way spam isn't an issue.

Anyway, sounds like you have a lot of fun things going on around here. I'll be sure to drop by again :)

Sounds like fun! LOL, I love the Sean Connery impression. "Buck Futter!"

I don't like moderating comments. From the user end that means your comment might not get posted for quite some time, depending on when the blog owner approves it. As the blog owner I really don't want to have to keep approving comments all day long, not that I have that problem.

Really I think Wordpress is better at blocking Spam; Blogger should take some cues from them.
