Paragraph Number: 9
(NOTE: I've switched over now to the final draft I gave my "editor" which was single-spaced, so the page numbers and such are a bit different)
This one is stylin':
Sylvia began to comb Emma’s hair; she clucked her tongue at Emma. “You realize the ‘60s are over, right?”
(If you take off the zits, that is pretty much how Emma looks at the start of the story.)
Tomorrow is the Superhero Trivia Challenge. Win $5 if you have the right answer! And this one is going to be multiple choice so you have a 1 in 5 chance of being right.

It looks like Emma doesn't do small things. Cause the pimples are frightening.
This passage does a lot to anchor Emma as a nonconforming or non hip young woman. I imagine she has a transformation ahead of her.
THE 60S ARE NOT OVER! That is all.
Pimples are frightening.
If the challenge is old-school super heroes, I could win. If you go all Dark Knight on us, I'm gonna lose.
Emma's feet are bigger than Missy Franklin who is said to have "paddles" in the Olympics and who has been compared to Michael Phelps (only female).
Are you sure you want Emma's feet to be bigger than someone who is said to have paddles and is winning gold medals. By all standards, Bob Costas called her feet "huge" and their four sizes smaller than Emmas.
Those zits look like marbles! She so needs a make-over as the kids say.
Hey, I didn't design the zits. Those are courtesy the good folks at Maxis or whoever it was who designed The Sims 2. And by the time of today's quote she doesn't have zits anymore; I just didn't feel like designing another Emma.
Sylvia is something else..lol.
