Cold Water Creek by Steven LaBree
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It's a well-written paranormal mystery. Like the old "Columbo" movies this basically tells you whodunnit at the beginning. Then you follow along years later as Carter Cane tries to solve the mystery of a woman's skeleton found in a van in Cold Water Creek in Florida. Sort of like "The Dead Zone," a coma helps Carter unlock a paranormal ability. Then there are some twists and turns as he tries to find out who died and why and whodunnit.
Overall it's a good story and very engaging. Carter is a well-drawn character and the paranormal twists don't seem too weird or far out.
If you like your mysteries with a little paranormal--but not too much--then this is highly recommended.

Paranormal mystery - like the Agent Pendergast series?
Sounds good. I might just read this one.
