Two-Fer Tuesday #18: End of the Line

It's Tuesday, which means another Two Fer Tuesday.  If you're not acquainted with the rules, I use a random number generator to pick a page and paragraph to pluck two sentences from.  Let's see what we get this week.

Page Number:  41
Para
graph Number: 3
For once it's one I didn't have to fudge a little to find something interesting:

A fence topped with barbed wire blocked the other end of the alley, but he saw doors that led into a couple of old factories.  He could hide in one of those until the monster went away.

Tomorrow is the 5th Wednesday of the month, which means a mystery post!

Monster?

That made me think of the classic Grover story "There's a monster at the end of this book." If you haven't read it, you should. It's got a Shymalanian twist to it.

I loved that book.

When does yours come out?

If hiding in barbed wire is preferrable to the monsters he must be in serious trouble.

On the right side it says next month. They told me 2-3 weeks, which was a week or so ago. But it's complicated because they're redoing the website, which probably won't be up for 1-2 weeks. So I'm hoping some time in September they'll chuck it out there.

Must be nice to work for one of those big publishers where they give you a real release date.
