Box Office Blitz Week 4 Results!

I didn't help my own cause this weekend by spending $7.50 to see "2 Guns."  I would have seen "The Wolverine" but it wasn't starting for 45 minutes and 2 Guns was starting right then and since I really didn't give a shit about either, I just went to see 2 Guns.  It was an OK buddy action movie, but as I tweeted, it's the kind of movie where you won't miss anything if you wait to see it on DVD.  And BTW, there are a lot more than 2 guns in the movie.  Liars!

Anyway, the top movies this week:

1. 2 Guns $27.4M
2. The Wolverine $21.7M
3. Smurfs 2 $18.2M

Another down week for me as I picked:

1. Smurfs 2 $50M
2. The Wolverine $30M
3. 2 Guns $25M

Guess I grossly estimated the kiddies this week.  Anyway, I get 100 for Smurfs, 100 for Wolverine plus a 200 point bonus for placing it #2, and then 100 for 2 Guns.  That's 500 total.

Christopher Dilloway picked:

Wolverine $25

That's 100 for 2 Guns plus a 100 point bonus and 100 each for Smurfs and Wolvie for 400 total.

Rusty picked:

Smurfs 2 $25 mil

That's a trifecta and since he picked 2 Guns closer than David he wins the extra 300 points for 1200 total.
