Box Office Blitz Week 14 Results!

Gravity only lost 20% of its take from last week which is almost unprecedented in this day and age where 50-60% is often the norm.

The results were:
Gravity $44.2M
Capt Philips $26M
Cloudy Meatballs $14.2M

I picked:
  1. Gravity $30M
  2. Captain Phillips $15M 
  3. Cloudy Meatballs 2 $13M
That's a trifecta for 900 points

Rusty picked:
Gravity $40 mil
Captain Phillips $20 mil
Cloudy 2 - $12 mil

That's also a trifecta for 900

David Walton picked:
1. Gravity $38 mil
2. Captain Phillips $27 mil
3.Machete Kills $13 mil

That's 200 for Gravity and 300 for Cpt Philips for 500 total

Maurice picked:
1. Gravity - $42 mil
2. Captain Phillips - $24 mil
3. Cloudy 2 - $13.5 mil

That's a trifecta for 900.  Maurice outbid everyone too so he wins the 300 extra points

Captain Phillips looks good, but geez, 90% of the time I go to the movies to be entertained. I followed his story very closely, and it might be awhile before I feel like watching a movie like that. Have to be in a certain mood.
