It's Tuesday, which means another Two Fer Tuesday. If you're not acquainted with the rules, I use a random number generator to pick a page and paragraph to pluck two sentences from. Last week was a pretty tasty one--the start of the epilogue--so let's see what we get this week.
Page Number: 300
Paragraph Number: 3
This is another good one, though maybe it won't seem that way to you. If you read the post about Dan Dreyfus and the post about Karlak II during the A to Z challenge then you'll know what this refers to:
She opened the door to Dan’s Karlak II
exhibit. For a moment she looked around
in awe at the completed exhibit, which looked almost exactly like an Egyptian
tomb, except for the signs and video screens put up for the visitors.
What's she doing in the exhibit? You'll have to find out!
Tomorrow, being the third Wednesday, is about a real-life hero somewhere, though perhaps closer than you might think...

Great description! I would love to see an exhibit like that.
Intriguing. This is a great idea since it really makes me want to find out more.
I'm a sucker for anything having to do with Egyptian tombs. Give us more!
I love random numbers. They never let me down.
You should probably link to those posts when you do a post like this.
I just re-read the post. Is that real-life hero CALLING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE?!?!?! RUN!
I think I meant to and then I forgot. So the hell with it. The A to Z posts are all labeled so just click the "atozchallenge" link on the Index and you can find them.
Oooh. I hope this book isn't depressing like Virgin Territory.
It might be. Someone does die. But what was so depressing about Virgin Territory? Sure Gary lost Andrea, but he was probably going to hook up with Jenny.
Dude! You spoilered it!
Both of them!
In one small comment!
I don't know what to think about that. Part of me wants to seriously tell you "good job" because it's kind of awesome, and the rest wants to smack you, because SPOILERS!
Uh what's so depressing about Virgin Territory? Gary has a small dick, and that's depressing because he's unhappy and self-conscious about it...so much so that it affects his entire life and how he behaves with women. Andrea fucking dies. She doesn't die once...she dies twice. Once is a suicide walking into a lake after her TRUE LOVE IS DESTROYED IN WORLD WAR 2 invading the beach! I mean...Jesus Christ Patrick...no one NO ONE ends up safe in this book. "Oh that guy's kinda neat and ends up all broken and half a man. Well what about this girl...oh she never has kids and finds her true love but then just dies and he's in love with her and she dies in his arms..."
Man...I seriously don't get how you can sit there and ask "what's depressing about it?"
Whatever.
Well look on the bright side, Andrea and Gary got a second chance at love. Even if it lasted only five years that's longer than a lot of people get. So there's that.
