Phony Photos: The Fifth Dimension

First, some other business.  Since the book has finally been released as an ebook, this week I'll be doing a blog tour to promote the hell out of it!  So be sure to check out those blogs for more of my wit and wisdom concerning the book.

Today I'll be at Michael Offutt's blog to discuss how my villain the Black Dragoon compares to "Breaking Bad."

The schedule for the rest of the week:
So it's a full week ahead!

If you've followed this blog for any amount of time then you've probably seen the Sim portrait of the hero of my novel A A Hero's Journey, if not in an article than down on one of those links at the bottom.  You can always see her in the Character Bios if nothing else.  Just to refresh your memory:

Anyway, so I've been painstakingly working on the sequel this year, which has involved a few setbacks.  In that sequel, someone changes history so that Emma's parents are still alive and Emma herself looks a little different too.  She looks like this:

The obvious difference is that her hair is shorter and curlier, which is supposed to be more like her mother's than before.  A more subtle difference is that she's tarted-up a bit more in terms of the makeup and clothes.  This Emma favors tube tops instead of baggy T-shirts and at the office her skirts are a lot shorter.  The idea being that this Emma is a bit more fun than the original in part because her parents are alive and in part because in this timeline her genius drove her to the brink of a nervous breakdown that led to drinking and some promiscuity.  Maybe if you look at them back-to-back like this you can tell the difference.  Or not.  She should have an orange Snooki tan but I don't think there's a way to do that in the program.

Tuesday is another Two-Fer!

Okay! I'm looking much more forward to a comparison to cheeseburgers than to Breaking Bad.

You're already giving book 2 spoilers? I might have to read with one I open. I don't know how that would help me, but I'm sure it will somehow.

Sigh. I don't know what I even said in the previous paragraph. I'm sure it was insightful. Doing this on my phone makes it so much harder to put down a complete thought.
