Comic Trivia 5/13

OK, in light of the fact no one seemed to give a shit about answering questions even though there was money involved (not lots of money but you can still buy a book or album or rent a movie off Amazon with $5, something you chumps didn't seem to realize) it's no longer a contest.  And since if I ask you questions about MY superhero (who I've only talked about for a fucking YEAR on this blog) I just get a blank look like I'm talking to a bunch of vegetables in the hospital, I'm just going back to my trusty ol' 1001 Comic Book Trivia Questions by Rich Meyer.  I'm just going to pull a random question out and you can learn a little something about comics.  Huzzah.

OK, here's today's trivia factoid:

Q:  Who were the two male music stars of the seventies who received comic book series from Charlton Comics?

here's some thinking music:

[I'll post the answer after the picture to give you a little spoiler space.]

Superliminal advertising!

Did you guess someone cool like Mick Jagger, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton or one of the Beatles?  If so, you would be wrong.

A:  Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy

Which makes me wonder if Justin Bieber or One Direction have a comic yet.  It wouldn't surprise me.

Now you know...and knowing is half the battle!

  4. I like coming to a blog where the author yells at me. It's refreshing. So many people trying to get their readers to LIKE them. You really are the Mafia of the blogging community. "Readers? I don't need no stinkin' readers. I'll make them an offer they can't refuse. Say Hello To My Little Friend!" I'm not sure I've got those references correct. How about "Readers? I'll get them! And their little dog Toto, too!"

That all sounds sarcastic, but I do enjoy the grumpiness. Stay golden/grumpy, Ponyboy.

    DAMN THIS QUOTING IS HARD.

  5. Kiss had a comic I think - but I think it was from marvel. I'll say David Cassidy and Leif Garrett
