One of the first things I ordered from Wish was a Deadpool figure. It looked cool and it was a decent price--better than the Marvel Legends ones. But you know what they say: you get what you pay for.
When the figure showed up from China 4-6 weeks later, it was garbage. Unlike a lot of knockoffs the resemblance wasn't really bad. I mean, he's recognizable as the Deadpool from the comics and movies. The problem is that he's really poorly constructed. He falls all apart at the slightest touch. Which I know Deadpool is supposed to be able to get cut apart and regrow his limbs but that doesn't mean I want a Deadpool figure that's always falling to pieces like he just went 15 rounds with Wolverine.
The arms are weirdly constructed where instead of just a ball joint to fit in a hole on the shoulder there's a peg and then the ball joint. And while most of the Marvel Legends-type figures have a solid chest, his chest is in two pieces that don't stay together real well unless maybe you glue them. He came with twin katanas to put on his back but they wouldn't really stay in place.
With how fragile it is, I can't really do much with it except to lean on a stand and try not to touch it. The sad thing is I still don't have a good red Deadpool, just the gray-and-black X-Force Marvel Legends one. And a Lady Deadpool. And Gwenpool. There are like 100 Marvel Legends Deadpools but none of the red ones ever seem to be a decent price. Sad.
And that's it for this feature. Thanks for not commenting on most of them or showing any interest at all. Next week gets back to normal entries and...probably still hardly any comments or interest. SMH.
