A to Z Challenge: Jyn Erso

Jyn Erso was the main character of Rogue One and I would say it's a toss-up on whether she or regular Han Solo from Solo is the least popular figure of the Black Series in the last five years.  If you wanted to get her for cheap you could go pretty much anywhere:  Five Below, Ollie's, or clearance shelves at Meijer/Walmart/Target.  Along with the Ackbar/First Order guy two pack, there were still tons of Jyn Erso at Toys R Us the last time I went there.  (Those probably wound up then going to Ollie's.)

I wasn't all that interested but finally broke down a few years ago and got her for $4.49 at the Meijer in Hartland along with Captain Cassian Andor--who also was not very popular.

This figure is from early in the movie and comes with a big gray scarf that you can remove if you want--I did. Maybe since the Rogue One figures wound up in discount stores and warming pegs even then they haven't been reissued since 2016 and they haven't made additional figures in different outfits or anything.

I also have the Barbie doll-type figure they made of her because it was $2 at Walmart in Fowlerville years ago.

Pretty much no size of her was ever popular.

it's funny that her box lists her as a sergeant, which she wasn't. Several of the Rogue One toy tie-in products suffered from misleading or totally inaccurate product descriptions. I think I have that same black series Jyn I got from Target for around the same price on clearance.

While the way the movie ended for all of the main characters in Rogue One worked well for the storytelling in the movie, I wonder if it hampers the toy sales. Collectors will buy a figure of anything, but I'm not sure kids will clamor for a toy of a dead character from only one movie.
